Sigh...

Exams tomorrow... So lazy.. Whoever thought exams can be so relaxing... But then again, I'm feeling rather nervous... Scared I would fail cause there's a rather fine line between passing and failing... However, there's a rugby game tomorrow so am looking forward to it... haha... Btw, last week we got thrashed...

Just a few simple mindbenders:

'Well now Watson, from what Mrs Hudson said, I'm sure you can tell me your colour?' 'But she didn't say anything, Holmes.' 'Exactly.' What colour was Watson wearing?

On the town buses, all of the fares are either $1 or $0.70. Yesterday, Mrs P put $1 on the tray and the driver gave her a $1 ticket. Then Mrs Q put $1 on the tray, and the driver asked her 'Do you want a $0.70 or $1 ticket?' The driver had never seen either women before, so why the different treatment?

Shortly before the trial of Charlie Snod, the police received a mysterious note from the infamous villian Henry van Eyck. It read as follows:

1. The truth is that this statement and the one after the first true statement are not both true.
2. If you add the number of the first false statement to the second true statement you get the number of a statement which is as true as number one.
3. Statement number 2 is a downright lie, I'm afraid.
4. Charlie Snod is innocent or I'm a Dutchman (or both).
5. At least half of these six statements are true.
6. My own gang was responsible for the crime.

Well, I gotta admit these were quite easy. At least for me it was, except maybe for the third one... hehe...

Rugby!!!

Rugby was so totally awesome... well, besides the fact that i didn't touch the ball much, we still won... haha... won by 30 points... i'm ecstatic... haha... made a lot of nice tackles and helped to score a try... haha... don noe much abt the rulz of rugby, thus i've borrowed a book from the library entitled "Rugby Union for Dummies" haha... pretty cool huh? anyway, my whole body is aching... so i'm temporarily disabled... ouch!

Finally i get a chance to play rugby... woohoo!!! i've been waiting for this moment my whole life ( well not reli but u get the point )... the problem is i don't have a practice for the match on wednesday, it's like the coach just slot ppl on the team and hope they show up to play a full team... anyways, i'm so excited n nervous now even tho it's onli sunday... oh well... hope i learnt enough from telly to play by the rules... N no, prarthini, i still don't plan to get married...:P no matter how much u'll persuade me too... hehe... random comment but i have to put it some where...

Christians and Non-christians?

Just a bit of food for thought... should we really be using the term "non-" to refer to those who aren't christians? i mean, the term "non-" sounds like a negative term, like it's bad, negative, not included, almost like it's refering to christianity being the good whereas all the other religion are bad. Same goes to the terms of muslim and non-muslim... i mean, it sorts of put a sense of discrimination on everybody... so, it all boils down to, do we or should we should the term "non-"?

University!!

Went to the University of Canterbury to do a bit of "studying"... haha... manage to do a bit of bio and physics work but then again, a bit of work in 2.5 hours is not reli that good... haha... my first experience in uni was disastrous... firstly, me and my fren got lost... we couldn't help it... the university campus was so big... and we also didn't know which library we had to go to meet up with our other friends... u wudn't believe it... there was a central library, education library, engineering library, law library, physical science library... and they were all splitted in like ten different directions... so what we did was stood in front of the map directory and wondered where we should go... haha... probably got lost a couple of times but hey, we found it in the end... so then, we walk into this library n we had another choice to make... which floor are our friends on? i mean... the library is so big that it had 6 floors (pause to let it sink in)... yes, 6 floors... n it was filled with books n i mean literally filled with books... everywhere we look there was books... thick or thin, big or small, n every title under the sun (i think)... makes me feel like a little midget... haha... so there we go... my first experience in a university... makes me feel rather old when i wander around the campus though... sigh...

Update

So sry abt not updating but finally i've got broadband... weee.... haha... finally, after being here for a long time, i finally screw up the courage to go to 'Revolution' (which is a youth group) and it was simply awsome... haha... it's not much different from Impact (malaysian youth group) but ah well... the onli thing different is that most of the ppl are kiwis which are quite cool... let me say this though, ALL of them are friendly... haha... they make me feel so homely... n now since it's the holidays, i'm quite happy n contented though lazy to do any study... *cough cough*... but anyway, i'm going off to the west coast of New Zealand to a place called Punakaiki ( i think it's spelt like that) where apparently the pancake rocks are... so mayb, mayb i'll b able to get my hands on some photos... haha... no promise tho... anyways, i'm loving the weather here because it's so nice n stuff, reli nice n cooling haha... i noe, this blog doesn't make sense... sry...
