Dilemmas...

Sigh... You know how people get into moods to do things, such as gettinig into the mood to study and so on and so forth... Well, sometimes when I get up in the mornings, I think to myself, do I really want to return to Malaysia? Sure I have friends there and stuff, but I've so enjoyed the environment in NZ that I feel like I never want to leave this place and besides, sometimes I feel like I've got no idea what to do when I get back to Malaysia... Guess you can say that I'm scared of what other people might think of me... Especially old friends and acquaintances I barely know... However, there are a few people I'm just dying to meet, people like Wan Li (best mate in high school), Nick(loved bullying him), Ang (Yes, you too), Grace, Cheri, and a couple more... Being a an introvert, I have always felt uncomfortable in large groups, unless of course I know them all well, then I'll go all out... But my true inner nature is the person residing in me who loves to just stand and watch people as they come and go, going through life, passing me by as if I'm just some nobody... That's who I am and that's all I probably will be... I've never liked drawing attention to myself... Thus, I have this feeling I'll have a rather uncomfortable feeling when I return to Malaysia... A feeling of embarassment when I return... Not to say I don't like Malaysia... I adore it's food but what I like more about NZ is that there is so much more peace compared to the hustle and bustle of the city... It's such a nice place to raise kids and chuck a ball around... And I might end up living here for the rest of my life... Who know's? God has played a big part in my life... And I'm sure there's a reason why I'm here.... The thing is, I want to have a reason to go back to Malaysia at the end of the year, the only reason for now is that I have already got a ticket back... However, I want a better reason than that, so as of now, I'm still struggling to find it...

Hairbands...

Once upon a time, in a country far far away, there lived this commoner who owened a magic mirror. Every day, he would go up to it and ask the same question, "Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who's the gayest of them all?" And every day the mirror would reply, "There is none other that is as gay, Your Acidity"

You know, I don see why the male species can't or don't wear hairbands... I mean, what's wrong with it? After trying on my cousin's pink hairband (which goes very well with my pink shirt if I may say so myself), I decided it looks alright... Sort of gay-ishy, but it was alright... I think it's due to the fact that we relate these kind of things to GIRLS!!! Hairbands belong to girls, hairties and ribbons belong to girls as well... But then we grew up in a environment where our parents dressed us and we were tee totters... We didn't have a chance to dress ourselves or do up our hair. OUr parents had to do all of that and since girls hair are usually tidied up with hairties and hairbands and what nots... We grew up relating items by gender... Some items just happened to be unisex... When I wore the hairband, I noticed 2 things... Firstly, the hair is kept nice and tidy and pushed back in nice straight rows... Secondly, there is space for ventilation due to the tidied hair... Thus, it is able to cool down your head much quicker than leaving your hair as it is...

Pretty much how I looked with a hairband...

Not a very good picture though, took it from a webcam... But yeah, it was interesting to see how I looked with a headband on... One of my friends here is actually OFFERING me one of her black hairbands, so I might, just might have a different hairdo when I get back to Malaysia...

P.S. If you didn't get the "Your Acidity" joke at the beginning, think ethanoic acid...

My Imaginary Girlfriend...

I was chatting with Jerrica one Raya holiday and we happened to stumble into the topic of who my girlfriend was... Sadly to say, she is imaginary... Haha... But my ideal girlfriend would have facial features like Jerrica's, a figure like Sarah Lim's, as tall as chanel, and an attitude like Jac's!!! Haha... So yeah, that would be my ultimate girlfriend... Though, in reality, that would never happen... Haha... Oh oh, and as I was studying biology today, I read how certain animals show aggressive behaviour to show who was the more dominant individual... And they would have like competitive fights to see who would have first choice to the the females... And I was just thinking how similiar it is to us humans... The guys are normally the people who tries to show off a bit more than usual in front of the girl they like, or vice versa (if in fact girls show off... I have no idea)... Showing off their manliness, building up on guns and such... It's kinda amazing how similiar we are to animals eh?
